Battle Creek (Map) - 40%
Apo
is trying his hand at converting this classic Halo map. It is currently
in early the Alpha stages and needs a lot more refinement. But Apo has
already made a great deal of progress.

Health Pack (Item) - 70%
Outlaw has gotten the Halo health pack
into UED for refinement. Once it is coded it will replace the regular
UT health modules in all HaloUT maps.

Scorpion MBT (Vehicle) - 90%
Magnum has been working tireless on the
Scorpion, and his work has definitely paid off. The treads now dynamically
adjust to the terrain and more improvements are on the way. Also, the
crosshair is working and bots can ride on the treads. The Scorpion has
now been integrated with Mutt's Camo skins and a skin selector is being
coded into the mutator.

DM/CTF/DOM-Siyine (Map) - 50%
OutlawSkot
has also been hard at work on this gorgious Halo-inspired map. He has
been able to find new and exotic uses for the Halo textures but has also
done a fantastic job of recreating the "feel" of the indoor
areas of the Halo level Silent Cartographer. Skot has recently added more
to and tweaked the interior, and begun work on roughly drafting the outside
areas of the map as well.

Sniper Rifle (Weapon) - 30%
As
you can see, we are in the early stages of getting a working Halo Sniper
Rifle into UT. Magnum got the ball rolling, and now EE and the dev team
are working to improve it all the time. Unfortunately, time restrictions
and devotion to other pieces of content have prevented the Sniper Rifle
from being released with Pack 1.75. It might be seen in Pack 2.0, however.

ONS-HUT-Nexus (Map) - 90%
One
of our amazing mappers, Dace, is currently developing a brand new Onslaught
map specifically for HaloUT called Nexus. It is Halo-themed and uses a
lot of Halo textures as well as the Halo skybox, but also feels very original
as well. It is our hope that this map will eventually become the staple
of HaloUT and lead us on into the future. Nexus is now fully playable
in every respect, and beta testing has begun.

MC "Aged Armor" (Models) - 90%
OutlawSkot
has created some alternate skins for the Master Chief which give him an
"aged armor" look; possibly what the armor might look like after
years of heavy battle. There are many different variations of this skin
as well.

Remaining HaloUT Weapons -
45%
Oxy
has been working very hard to complete the remaining Halo weapons. We've
run into a slight complication with the models being strangely "inverted"
and missing peices, but we've found a way past it. The models are currently
in the stage of being UV mapped and converted from Maya OBJ to 3DsMax
and then to imported into UED. The shotgun, rocket launcher, sniper rifle,
needler, flamethrower, plasma grenade, plasma pistol, rocket projectile,
and assorted ammo packs have all gotten into UED completely textured.
The rest is on the way.

Death Island (Map) -
40%
This
is personally my favorite map in all of Halo, as it embodies the essence
of the open-area battleground-in-the-middle-of-nowhere feeling that everyone's
come to love about Halo. The map is about 40% complete, having been completely
shaped and textured but still having a long ways to go. We should be able
to apply Xabora's seemless texture trick (see below) to it to get the
map looking just right. We also need to add spawn points, bot pathing,
foliage, and get the water touched-up a bit.

Sidewinder (Map)
- 40%
This
classic horseshoe-shaped ice map is one of the true classics of Halo.
We have attempted to preserve it as best we can, and plan to apply Xab's
seemless texture trick to it as well, thus providing for a more authentic
ground. Sidewinder is in about the same phase of development as Death
Island. It too needs to be bot-pathed, have some rocks added, and have
other minor touch-ups applied.

Bots Using the Banshee - *Complete*
Thanks
to a little coding ingenuity by Magnum, bots now use the Banshee! This
code will be integrated into future releases so you will finally by able
to have Banshee dogfights offline.

Working AR Display (Weapons) - *Complete*
As
you can see in these screenshots, Porkmanii has been able to successfully
implement the Assault Rifle's bullet counter and compass. This is a nice
bit of coding and will definitely add to the authenticity of the weapon.
Recently the code was updated so that the counter/compass now works in
both Halo-style weapons mode and in UT-style weapons mode. In UT-style
mode, the counter shows the percentage of ammo left, in Halo-style mode
it shows the actual number of bullets in the clip.
